In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Lithium Battery Depot Ltd. “You” and “your” mean the person or organisation buying from us or using our website.

Our products and services

We supply, distribute, and install lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, inverters, solar panels, and complete solar power systems. We also provide system design and installation services.

We do our best to describe and show our products accurately. Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the item delivered. Specifications may be updated by manufacturers from time to time.

Quotes and pricing

Because the prices of batteries, inverters, and solar equipment in Nigeria change frequently, we work mainly from written quotes.

  • Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for the period stated on the quote. After that period, prices may change.
  • Prices are in Nigerian Naira unless stated otherwise.
  • We may quote a complete system as a single bundled price rather than as separate line items.
  • We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before we accept your order.

Orders and payment

  • An order is confirmed once you have accepted our quote and we have received the agreed payment or deposit.
  • For most orders we require a deposit, or full payment, before we order stock, schedule delivery, or begin installation. We will tell you the payment terms for your specific order.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer to our official company accounts. We will never ask you to pay into a personal account. If you are unsure whether an account is ours, please confirm with us first.
  • Where instalment or “pay small small” arrangements are offered, these are subject to separate terms that we will share with you before you commit.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where stock is unavailable, where there has been a pricing error, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes, areas, and costs are set out in our Shipping and Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We will agree delivery arrangements with you at the time of your order.

Installation services

Where we install a system for you:

  • We will agree the scope of work with you before installation, usually after a site assessment.
  • You are responsible for giving us safe and timely access to the installation site, and for making sure the location is suitable (for example, adequate space, a sound mounting surface, and safe existing wiring).
  • If the site differs from what was described to us, or if extra work is needed, this may affect the price and the timeline. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding.
  • Our installation work is covered as set out in our Warranty Policy.

Warranty and returns

Our products and installation work are covered by our Warranty Policy, and returns are handled under our Returns and Refunds Policy. Both policies form part of these Terms.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Give us accurate and complete information when requesting a quote or placing an order.
  • Use the products in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and any guidance we provide.
  • Not misuse our website or attempt to interfere with its security or operation.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including our text, images, logo, and brand name, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

We provide our products and services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to follow instructions, by misuse, or by work carried out on the system by anyone we did not authorise.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of income or business interruption.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes power supply failures, import or supply chain delays, currency restrictions, fire, flood, civil disruption, or government action.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria. Where possible, we will try to resolve any dispute with you directly and in good faith before going to court.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order is the version that applies. Please check this page when you place a new order.
